Milla Jovovich ha anunciado este jueves en Instagram que está embarazada. Junto a un selfie en el que lleva un vestido negro ceñido escribe "ligeramente embarazada de nuevo".
La estrella explicó que sintió a partes iguales "una completa alegría y un terror absoluto" cuando descubrió que iba a tener otro hijo.
"Debido a mi edad y al aborto que sufrí en mi último embarazo, no quería apegarme a este bebé demasiado rápido", escribió Jovovich. "Durante los últimos meses mi familia y yo hemos vivido pendientes de un hilo esperando la llegada de una serie de resultados y de pruebas diferentes y pasando la mayor parte del tiempo en los consultorios médicos".
Jovovich continuó expresando su gratitud y reveló que ella y su esposo, el guionista y director de cine Paul Anderson, esperan una niña. La pareja ya tiene dos hijas, Ever, de 11 años, y Dashiel, de cuatro. "De todos modos, ¡deséenme suerte a mí y a mi bebé!Les mando mucho amor y los mantendré informados sobre mi progreso", concluyó la actriz.
La publicación de la también modelo ha cosechado más de 532.000 'me gusta' y miles de comentarios de admiradores y amigos famosos, incluida la modelo Alessandra Ambrosio, quien escribió: "Estoy muy feliz por ustedes".
La noticia del embarazo de la actriz, de 43 años, sigue a la confesión de que había sufrido un aborto hace dos años. Jovovich habló del duro trance en una sincera publicación de Instagram en mayo, cuando varios estados de los EE. UU. aprobaron proyectos de ley restrictivos sobre el aborto. "Tenía cuatro meses y medio de embarazo y estaba rodando en el este de Europa", comentó la estrella.

Last Tuesday, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed a draconian bill into law that outlaws all abortions after six weeks — before most women even realize they’re pregnant — including in cases of RAPE OR INCEST. This makes Georgia the sixth state to pass such a restrictive six-week abortion ban, joining Ohio, Mississippi, Kentucky, Iowa, and North Dakota. These laws haven’t been passed yet, but lawmakers in these states are trying. Abortion is hard enough for women on an emotional level without having to go through it in potentially unsafe and unsanitary conditions. I myself went through an emergency abortion 2 years ago. I was 4 1/2 months pregnant and shooting on location in Eastern Europe. I went into pre term labor and told that I had to be awake for the whole procedure. It was one of the most horrific experiences I have ever gone through. I still have nightmares about it. I was alone and helpless. When I think about the fact that women might have to face abortions in even worse conditions than I did because of new laws, my stomach turns. I spiraled into one of the worst depressions of my life and had to work extremely hard to find my way out. I took time off of my career. I isolated myself for months and had to keep a strong face for my two amazing kids. I started gardening, eating healthier and going to the gym everyday because I didn’t want to jump into taking anti depressants unless I had tried every other alternative. Thank God I was able to find my way out of that personal hell without turning to medication, but the memory of what I went through and what I lost will be with me till the day I die. Abortion is a nightmare at its best. No woman wants to go through that. But we have to fight to make sure our rights are preserved to obtain a safe one if we need to. I never wanted to speak about this experience. But I cannot remain silent when so much is at stake. #prochoice #prochoicegeneration

"Tuve un parto prematuro y le dije al médico que tenía que estar despierta durante todo el procedimiento. Fue una de las experiencias más horribles por las que he pasado. Todavía tengo pesadillas", reveló. Y añadió:"Cuando pienso en el hecho de que las mujeres podrían tener que enfrentarse abortos en condiciones aún peores que las mías debido a las nuevas leyes, mi estómago se revuelve".
Jovovich continuó describiendo la experiencia como su "infierno personal", y agregó: "El recuerdo de lo que pasé y lo que perdí estará conmigo hasta el día de mi muerte".
